Chain Link Animation

Hi, I’m a beginner to keyshot animation. It is possible to make chain mechanism animations with Keyshot. I’m just curious to know if the chain link animation is possible in keyshot or use some other software like Blender.
Anyone can please describe the procedure for chain link animation.

I think someone did manage to do this. using several models and some cut-through blocks to hide sections. But truth is you’re better off modelling the animation in another software, like blender, then importing the animation from there to render.

At the moment, we don’t have the Blender software. Anyhow we have to do it in the keyshot.
Please let me know if there is any other possible way

I agree with @harry.wills, the best solution would be working in Blender and importing it to Keyshot.
Creating this kind of animation directly in Keyshot would be a lot of work and not efficient at all.
